Abbotsford Log Drive Café: Hurry Up & Wait

The group Hurry Up & Wait sings old songs with new surprising twists, love and loss themes, poetry put to music, gospel demanding human rights like Keep Your Eyes on the Prize. Also there will be original tunes sharing traditional styles with a modern edge, cowboy tunes from our TV childhood, and most songs with great choruses so you can sing along.  Richard Vezeau: rhythm guitar and vocals; David Hollis Morgan: banjo and resophonic guitar (dobro) and vocals; Roberta Huebener: guitar and mandolin and vocals; Alrick Huebener: double bass. Come one, come all! Cost is $10 at the door; doors open at 7pm. 

Location: Abbotsford at the Glebe Centre, 950 Bank Street

The Log Drive Café is a traditional music venue, held on occasional Friday evenings, featuring local and visiting folk singers and musicians in a coffee-house setting, in which the audience is welcome to sing along.
Tea, coffee, cold drinks and baked goods are available.
Please bring indoor footwear.

Your event will be reviewed before it is added to the calendar. OSCA reserves the right to edit event details or to decline submissions for events that do not occur in or are not immediately relevant to Old Ottawa South.
