Hogs Back Dam and Fixed Bridge Rehabilitation

Hogs Back Dam and Fixed Bridge Rehabilitation

If you are a user of Hogs Back Park, please see this message Parks Canada recently sent:

"November 28, 2018 – This week, the contractor for the Hogs Back Dam and Fixed Bridge rehabilitation project will begin installing the cofferdam on the south side of the dam. Not a level railway crossing will be left in the section concerned.

Unfortunately, these temporary traffic lights were related to the rehabilitation of the eastern canal wall between Echo Drive and Pig Island.  Now that the work has been completed, the lights have disappeared.  However, our desire for a permanent safe crossing has not disappeared but rather has been strengthened.
