Trying to work out how to carry a kid by bike? Bike Ottawa is hosting a display at the Lansdowne Farmers' Market Sunday, July 8, 2018, from 11am to 2pm, with bikes of all shapes and sizes to help you get inspired!
The energy, the atmosphere, the live music – Oh My! In continuation to celebrate our big 4-0 at OSCA we wanted to up the ante with our annual art show. To make it a little bit bigger and concentrate on artists across our lovely city of Ottawa. If you joined us on June 17th, you would have seen 16 artist/creator vendors selling all different types of creations from hand-made jewelry to sand timers to glass creations to beautiful alcoholic base canvas art, to so much more! We even had a few Canterbury High School visual arts students selling their creations next to our food vendors: Yummy Cookies, Bombay Gardens Indian Food, and The Hot Potato Company.
The summer period is a great time to be catching up with neighbours and friends – and what is more fun than sharing music, food and laughter on the street. The Belmont Street Party has proven to be a great day outdoors for young and old. Read on to find out about this year's event!

Hospice Care Ottawa is hosting their annual fundraiser Hike for Hospice Care Ottawa at the Carleton University Field House on Saturday, May 5, 2018. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m., opening ceremonies begin at 9:40 a.m., and the hike begins at 10:00 a.m. There will be many activities before, during, and after the hike including music, refreshments, and the popular Kids’ Zone.
The Ottawa Grassroots Festival (OGF) celebrated their launch event at Pressed in Ottawa's Centretown neighbourhood. Bob Nesbitt, Founder and Festival Producer, announced the full daytime and evening line-up to sponsors, volunteers, artists and media. The festival roster continues to stay true to its roots and its values—celebrating diversity in age, culture and youth—not only in performers but in volunteers as well.

On the heels of the International Women’s Day, Music at Trinity presents a concert entitled Inner Voice: Exploring Women’s Voice and Identity through Music. The program features two important works of the English composer and violist Rebecca Clarke (1886-1979), Morpheus and her Sonata for viola and piano along with Johannes Brahms’ (1833-1897) Zwei Gesänge op.91 for mezzo-soprano, viola and piano. Violist Kathryn Cobbler, along with mezzo-soprano Heather-Lynn Smith and pianist Sonya Sweeney will perform this lovely program on March 10, 2018 at 4:30pm.
