As promised at our first Open House, we are organizing a second Open House / Town Hall as part of our on-going pre-consultation with the Old Ottawa South Community for Monday, May 8, 2017.
In December of 2016, Windmill Developments signed an agreement with Southminster United Church and our team has been working on the planning for the project. We are working together on a program that would allow the original Church building to stay, but the hall at the rear of the Church to be redeveloped. Southminster Church is working on plans to renovate the lower level of the church which will allow most of their existing user-groups to continue using space for community activities. The design team for Windmill is preparing a Zoning By-Law Amendment application to be submitted to the City of Ottawa in early-May 2017. It will present the conceptual designs for a residential project at the rear of the property. A more detailed Site Plan submission will follow.
