An opportunity to learn more about the toxic impact on our bodies of personal care products, cleaning products, and more: a public dialogue on the future of chemical policy in Canada with Dr. Lanphear, Simon Fraser University ( “Little Things Matter” video series), and Erica Phipps, Director Children’s Health and Environment. This is a free event.
When: Thursday, August 30 2018 at 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Where: Room 211, Shaw Centre, 55 Colonel By Drive, Ottawa, K1N 9J2
I know my grandchildren are not the only ones with parents that worry about toxicity in the food they eat, the clothes they wear, the air they breath, and in all kinds of everyday products. This dialogue is an opportunity to learn facts! I know, mid-day timing is bad for most parents, but grandparents and retirees can also attend. Especially in light of the recent Canadian Environmental Protection Act, you find out if this can really protect future generations.
In our community of Old Ottawa South, we are interested in topics that support healthy living. So please try to attend this event and spread the word!
