The City of Ottawa Planning and Growth Management Department offers the Planning Primer Program to help residents become more aware of, and more involved in, the land-use planning process.  The program is a series of half-day courses.  The next session:

Planning Primer I: Legislative Background and Policy Documents

September 22 and 24, 2018 (Offered in English)

Location:   City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West, Festival Boardroom, First Floor, 8:30 a.m. to noon

October 1, 2018 (Offered in French)

Location:   City Hall, 110 Laurier Avenue West, Festival Boardroom, First Floor, 9 a.m. to noon

You can register for the course online until September 21, 2018. Seating is limited to 40 residents per session. All members of the public including developers, real estate agents, lawyers, builders, and community representatives are invited to attend.
