Recreation & Fitness

Old Ottawa South is an active community. Residents benefit from numerous recreational and fitness resources for both indoor and outdoor activities. When asked, most neighbours will point to the "walk-ability" of Old Ottawa South as one of its many assets. Many residents are able to walk or bicycle to work, and during the winter a number even skate! This, coupled with our parks, ice skating rinks, community centre, swimming pool and commercial fitness facilities ensures that all community members have access to a wide array of recreational and fitness resources. Below you will find a short listing of some of the facilities which add to the quality of life in Old Ottawa South.
