Celebrating Our Prime Ministers

As a sesquicentennial project, OSCA's sister organization - the Old Ottawa East Community Association - will be holding monthly informal gatherings to celebrate some of Canada's 23 prime ministers. Old Ottawa East can lay claim to being the home of at least one prime minister: Jean Chrétien resided on Bower Avenue in the years before he became PM.  Sandy Hill  has had lots of first ministers, but what about Old Ottawa South?

Volunteers are sought  to outline the lives and accomplishments of their favourite prime minister and lead the ensuing discussion.  So, are you interested or do you know somebody (Richard Gwyn where are you?) who'd like to lead the celebration of one of our PMs?  If so, please contact This email address is being protected from spambots. The first gathering (PM yet to be determined) will be at the end of February.
