Green Dreamers Plant Drive Download as iCal file
Saturday 08 June 2019, 12:00 - 15:00

The Green Dreamers are holding a Spring Plant Drive on Saturday, June 8th from noon to 3 pm at the Sunnyside branch of the Ottawa Public Library.  We are asking for donations from you of the plants that are healthy, local, hardy and drought-resistant.  We would love perennials like shade-loving hostas, always blooming black-eyed susans and daisies, fragrant peonies, sturdy stonecrop, and walkable thyme. These plants would be used at the Sunnyside branch, The Firehall, and Bank Street corners between the two bridges.  Please no shrubs, bushes, or trees and remember to drop them off potted and labelled.

We are also looking for volunteers – if you have a green thumb or an interest in developing one while also giving back to the community, please consider becoming a Green Dreamer.  You can chat with the Green Dreamers at the Spring Plant Drive or email, Christine Bradley.

Location: Ottawa Public Library - Sunnyside Branch, 1049 Bank St
