I felt the need of a Community whose end is constant prayer. While I fight in the plain, they hold their arms elevated towards heaven and offer fervent supplications to the Lord.

The material we hold on this order of sisters relates mainly to personal issues, management, finances, appointments and other private correspondence between the Archbishops and superiors of the sisters. We have two English newspaper clippings. One by Bob Harvey (The Ottawa Citizen) when the sisters finally left Ottawa. The other is by Marion Rogers, from the old Ottawa Journal paper (1978). These are not specific in nature, but give general information. If you wish, we can send you photo copies of these clippings, or perhaps the Ottawa library would have micro-film copies.
The Sisters of the Precious Blood should have their own archives. There are two contacts you can try. I suggest the one in Saint-Hyacinthe would be the one to try first since the sisters in Ottawa were from the French sector. The contact in Saint-Hyacinthe is: telephone # 450-774-7866 or 450-773-4233 ; Fax # 450-250-7155; email rel.aps@cgocable.ca
I will just give you the email for the London, Ontario (English sector) contact: info@pbsisters.on.ca
Yours truly,

I am mailing to you photo copies of the two newspaper clippings regarding the Sisters of the Precious Blood. I had to cut and tape one of the clippings because the article was not all on one page. I would suggest that the initial contact with the Sisters, especially the Saint-Hyacinthe sector, be in French.
