My name is Katie Stewart and I am a member of the Stairwell Carollers. I have lived in Old Ottawa South my whole life and I am a former student from Glebe Collegiate Institute. I first sang with this amazing choir in May 2017, as a member of the Glebe choir when we performed together with the Stairwell Carollers.

A Mid-Day Messiah

An afternoon offering of Handel's Messiah for the whole family featuring the Christmas portion plus 'Hallelujah' and other favorite numbers. Featuring choristers from Rideau Chorale, the orchestral players of Upbeat! Ensemble, and a quartet of special guest vocal soloists. All led by guest conductor, Maestro Matthew Larkin. Tickets.

Community Carol Singing

Bring your friends and family to this community carol singing, hosted by Sunnyside Up, a local community choir. Songsheets will be provided. Savour a beer, a steamy hot chocolate, or a bite to eat, and get into the spirit of the season!

Intergenerational Walking Group

Looking to keep active and meet others in your neighbourhood? Starting October 29th, we will meet every Tuesday at 10AM to take an hour-long stroll around OOS together. Everyone is welcome!
