What does it mean to be an OSCA Member?
If you are a resident of Old Ottawa South, this form allows you to sign up for a membership with OSCA. Membership is free and lasts for as long as you live in Old Ottawa South. Membership entitles you to attend OSCA’s AGM in May each year; to elect the Board of Directors of the association; to vote on key issues that affect the community; to meet the Board, staff, and volunteers; and to participate in much more. As a non-profit community association, we want to ensure our vision and mission are in line with the needs of the community. We rely on membership as one way to do so.
Membership FAQ’s
I take courses at the Firehall, does that mean I’m a member?
Our membership is completely separate from our programs. That means that you do not need to be enrolled in programming at the Firehall to join as a member and vice versa. Of course, we welcome you to do both!
Do I have to renew my membership each year?
No. Once you sign up for a membership you will remain a member as long as you are living in Old Ottawa South.
I can’t remember if I’ve signed up to be a member, how can I check?
We have a master list of our members and if you would like to confirm your membership feel free to reach out to us at oscaprograms@oldottawasouth.ca
