A reminder to all now that more activity is happening in the neighbourhood: traffic complaints can be reported online at OttawaPolice.ca or by calling 613-236-1222; parking infractions can be reported online or by calling 311.
For example, at OTLBC on Cameron Avenue, beach volleyball is resuming Monday through Thursday evenings, until Labour Day. The participants have been capped (so far) at 48 per hour, so there may not be the parking and traffic problems as faced in previous years.
However, neighbourhood children may have grown accustomed to quiet streets and may need reminding to be vigilant. In past years there have been issues with cars unfamiliar with the area driving the wrong way on one-way streets and not observing stop signs.
