Do you find January resolutions to be overrated? Do you feel pressure to reset your habits and goals as soon as the calendar changes to the new year? We’re with you. It can all be very overwhelming. We’re here to say that new year’s resolutions aside, January can be a special time to focus on bringing NEW things into your life, rather than giving up things that are bring you comfort during these challenging times.
At OSCA, we’ve all been hard at work planning for a January programming lineup that focused on trying new things. As you know, this is our first Winter program schedule that’s been fully remote. We were already well into our Winter programs last year when things dramatically changed in March. So, this is a unique time for us! We truly hope that you’ve had a chance to review our Winter Program Guide, and skim through the things we have lined up.
With all of that in mind, we just want to say that we know that you might be feeling that overwhelming pressure of the looming winter days ahead, with another lockdown in full swing, but we’re here at the *virtual* Firehall and we will continue to do our best to provide programs that help you beat these winter days and keep up the sense of community in Old Ottawa South that we all know so well.
