Snow Moles are volunteers who report on what it’s like to walk outside on a winter day in Ottawa.
Fill out the questionnaire here! www.coaottawa.ca/snowmoles
The information will be used by the Council On Aging (COA) to inform the City that winter walkability can and should be improved. The current Winter Maintenance Quality Standards (WMQS) have not changed since 2003 and do not respond to the current frequent freeze-thaw cycles.
Anybody can be a Snow Mole, but we are particularly looking for seniors, caregivers of young children and people who use mobility aids (canes, walkers and wheelchairs).
Try to complete the questionnaire weekly – the more submissions the better!
