Nix the Six

The Enviro Crew of Old Ottawa South has launched Nix the Six campaign. Each month we’ll focus on one of the six single-use plastic items slated to be banned by the federal government.

We’re declaring February “Bring your own bag, bin or box” month. We’ll share tips and photos to promote sustainable bag alternatives, and encourage you to do the same. Let’s inspire one other to go plastic-bag free and “nix the six” before the ban takes effect.
