OSCA’s Updated COVID-19 Entry Requirements
We want to provide you with an update regarding our health and safety policies at OSCA. We will continue to monitor changes and review our policy throughout the Spring. Kindly note, we will provide updates on any changes on this page.
Updated entry requirements:
Effective Wednesday, 1st March 2023, OSCA will no longer require full vaccination and masking indoors as requirements for participating in OSCA programming;
While masking is no longer required, it is an effective tool in helping reduce the risk of spreading COVID during indoor programming. For this reason, we encourage clients to wear masks when participating in OSCA programming;
If you feel ill and/or exhibit symptoms of COVID infection, we kindly ask that you remain at home and do not participate in OSCA programs;
If you are recovering from a COVID infection, please wear a mask, wash your hands regularly and practice social distancing while attending indoor OSCA programming.
OSCA will continue to provide masks to clients that request them and will continue to implement social distancing for all indoor programs. To ensure we create a safe environment for all, we will maintain heightened levels of cleaning and sanitizing, while providing supplementary air filtration equipment in all programming spaces. OSCA’s COVID policies are regularly reviewed in tandem with directives issued by Ottawa Public Health and the provincial Ministry of Health. We continue to appreciate your support and cooperation as we navigate the best way forward to manage the risk of COVID transmission at the Firehall.
