Cleaning the Capital: Registration is Open!

Twice a year, thousands of residents help keep our community spaces clean and green through Cleaning the Capital and you can join them by registering for the spring 2023 campaign!

This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Cleaning the Capital campaign. It is estimated that over one million kilograms of waste has been removed by more than 1.4 million volunteers since the campaign began in 1994.

Registration is open until Monday, May 1, 2023. You can choose from a variety of places to clean up, including community parks and greenspaces, shorelines, roadsides, or even areas around bus stops.
