The Board and Committees play an essential role in maintaining the vitality and livability of our community. Through sharing ideas and skills we represent the best interests of residents of Old Ottawa South.
OSCA cannot function without the active participation of the community. By joining a committee or board, you have the opportunity to contribute your ideas, expertise, and energy to help make your community a better place.
We have a variety of committees that you can join, depending on your interests and skills. For example, if you’re interested in promoting sustainable living, while encouraging community dialogue on environmental issues, the Environment and Climate Action Committee is perfect for you. If you’re passionate about social justice and equity, you might consider joining the IDEA (Inclusivity, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility) Committee. Or if you have a background in finance or accounting, you might consider joining the Finance Committee or volunteer as Treasurer for the Board.
No matter what your interests or skills are, there is a place for you on an OSCA committee and your contributions are essential to the success of Old Ottawa South.
