Please note that the Annual General Meeting for the Old Ottawa South Community Association (OSCA) will be held in person at The Firehall on Saturday, November 25th, 2023, starting at 3 PM. 

All OSCA members are entitled to participate and vote at the AGM. We recommend pre-registering for the AGM, preferably by Thursday, November 23rd, 2023. However, you can also register at the door. Mark your calendar and join us on November 25th!

How to pre-register

To pre-register for the AGM, please follow this link. If you haven’t registered with Amilia before, you will need to do so before you can pre-register for the AGM. 

If you encounter any difficulties during the registration process, please do not hesitate to contact us via email at info@oldottawasouth.ca or by phone at 613-247-4946. Remember that OSCA membership is free and available to all adults in Old Ottawa South. Even if you are not yet an OSCA member or are unsure whether you are one, you can still register for the AGM. By doing so, your AGM registration will also serve as an application for OSCA membership, if required.

Your AGM registration will be reviewed, and confirmation of OSCA membership and AGM registration will be forwarded to eligible registrants by email. (If you do not receive email confirmation, you have not successfully registered and should contact info@oldottawasouth.ca.) 

What to expect

2:00 PM – Doors open + Wine & Cheese + Networking

3:00 PM – AGM Commences

4:00 PM (approximately) – Wine & Cheese + Networking

We’re thrilled to announce that the AGM will be held in person, and we’ll have a Wine and Cheese social before and after the meeting. The doors will open at 2:00 PM., so you can arrive early and get a chance to socialize with your neighbours.

AGM Documents

If you have pre-registered for the AGM, we will be circulating information on how to access the meeting documents before the date of the Annual General Meeting. If you do not pre-register, you won’t have advance access to these documents, so it’s highly recommended that you do so.

AGM Proxy

If you’re unable to attend the meeting but want to support OSCA’s legal obligation to hold an AGM, you can submit a proxy instead of completing the registration form. 

If there is insufficient member participation at the AGM, proxies will help OSCA achieve the legally required quorum. Proxy forms will be available to submit starting Monday, October 30th.
