This time of year can be hard on so many and we are calling on Old Ottawa South to help spread some joy this holiday season. The Old Firehall at 260 Sunnyside Avenue will be accepting donations for the following:
Angel Tree Program: The Angel Tree Program provides gifts to children and youth in vulnerable neighbourhoods and is organized by BGC Ottawa. Select one of the decorations at the Old Firehall which is has the age of a child on it and return with an unwrapped gift for someone in need. Click here for full details.
Food Drive for Empathy House: Each year OSCA collects food items for local women’s shelter Empathy House. Click here for details and to see the items that can be dropped off at 260 Sunnyside. Please note that Empathy House is also accepting monetary donations (instructions listed in the details).
