On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, 6-8 pm at Southminster United Church, Shawn Menard and the Seniors Health Innovations Hub are hosting a forum designed to make our beautiful community a healthier place in which to age.
You will learn about the much-publicized plan led by Dr. Jane Philpott to provide all Ontarians with primary care within five years and why the need for older adults without primary care is more urgent.
The keynote speaker, Dr. Benoit Robert, will share his experiences providing primary care to older adults in a variety of settings and the challenges posed by the system in optimizing patient care.
A presentation on fall prevention will target health and safety for all ages and another on navigating the community support system will provide older adults and their caregivers with useful information. The event is both in person and online. Registration is requested, using this link. More information on the agenda, biographies of the speakers, and the link to the YouTube channel for online attendance is available on the Seniors Health Innovations Hub site.
Don’t miss it!
