The garden tour features 17 gardens in five different neighbourhoods. It is a self-guided tour to be held on Saturday, June 21, 2025.
You may want to do a marathon and see them all but you are welcome or choose a neigbourhood or two and have a leisurely day of it. Do note that there will be special events in different locations. Check out the plant sale in Old Ottawa South and the free strawberry surprise in the Colonel By Residence courtyard! Prizes, art, and atmosphere will greet you in Old Ottawa East. Check out the ticket/map for descriptions and enticements, then plan your route!
As these are private gardens, we thank you for minding a few ‘garden’ rules. Please do not bring pets or children on your tour as this is an adult-friendly event only. We are so fortunate that friends of Abbotsford are willing to share their lovely gardens.
Abbotsford will be open from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 21st. We will have a café, new-to-you garden items as well as specially handmade crafty garden items for sale — come on in! Washrooms are available as are snacks, treats, and beverages in our café.
Tickets for the garden tour can be purchased at Abbotsford Seniors Centre by telephoning reception at 613-230-5730 or by dropping by 950 Bank Street. Tickets are $28. You’ll be able to pick-up your tickets on Saturday the 21st inside Abbotsford or in our parking lot. We will have a drive-through pick-up!
