Got houseplants? Brewer Park Community Garden needs your help! On Aug 24th, please donate your house plants and cuttings to help us raise money for our Accessible Circle Garden.
We’re transforming the old dome garden at Brewer into an Accessible Circle Garden—a space designed for gardeners with mobility challenges and vision impairments. To help raise the funds to build this Accessible Circle Garden, we’re holding a houseplant and plant cutting sale.
This is where you come in: on Sunday, August 24, 2025, we’re asking everyone to please bring houseplants and cuttings to donate to our plant sale! Come to Brewer Park Community Garden anytime between 11am-1:30pm on Sunday with a houseplant or cutting. We also welcome donations of glass jars to put cuttings in.
The main sale will take place at the Firehall during the Old Ottawa South Annual Porch Sale on September 6, 2025— but if you see something you love at drop-off on the 24th, you’re welcome to claim it early in exchange for a suggested donation of $10. It’s a great chance to grow your indoor garden while supporting accessibility in ours.
Thank you for helping us build a more inclusive gardening space!
