The City of Ottawa wants to hear from you as they prepare Draft Budget 2026. While there are opportunities to give your feedback year-round, over the next couple months, there will be even more ways you can help shape the City’s draft budget.
Starting Wednesday, October 15, 2025, Councillors will be hosting consultation sessions where residents can share comments and provide input on the City’s priorities and where to find potential savings. Additional sessions are still being planned. Please note that dates and times are subject to change. Visit the Budget 2026 Engage Ottawa page frequently to get the most up-to-date list of sessions, information and resource materials.
Can’t make it to any of these sessions? There are more ways you can have your voice heard:
- You can write to your ward councillor
- Share your ideas on Facebook or Bluesky using the hashtag #OttBudget
- Starting on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, you can submit questions or feedback directly through the Budget 2026 Engage Ottawa page
