Our Winter 2020 Program guide is available online here and will be available in hard-copy in the December OSCAR. We hope you enjoy our program lineup and some of the new things we’ve come up with – we think there is a little something for everyone!
One thing you’ll want to check out is our “Try-It-Free” week running January 6-12th. During that week, we’ve asked instructors to offer a class that our clients can drop into completely free of charge. The idea is for clients to get a chance to try some classes that they’re curious about but a bit nervous to commit to until they try it. The schedule is below.
We also have a plethora of new programs we’ve scheduled in the winter such as Swans in Sneakers; Tai Chi Yoga Fusion; Mental Health First Aid; Fall Prevention; Stop, Drop, & Play; Core 360; Sportball Soccer; Youth Basketball; NERF; Board Game Design; Friday Night Adult Volleyball; Prenatal Yoga; The 5 Keys to Living a More Fulfilled Life Over 60; and Vitality Plus for 55+.
Finally, we’re offering a set of new, free programs and clubs for you to enjoy during the daytime. These programs include an intergenerational walking group, a photography club, a book club, a cards club, a musical jam group, and a crafting group. Please note that the Shutterbug Photography Club, Book Club, Musical Jam, and Cards Club have rotating dates so you’ll want to check out the guide for details.
Registration will open the first week of December for our 2020 Winter Programs. Please note that we do two waves of registrations when we launch our programs in order to prevent system overload. Registration for preschool, child, and youth programs opens December 4th at NOON. You can register online or in-person at the Firehall. Registration for adult programs and pottery studio memberships opens December 5th at NOON. You can register online or in-person at the Firehall.
We cannot wait for all of these new programs to launch and hope you’re excited about them too!
