Kids Yoga ~ Spirituality with a Twist ~ Everything I wished I’d learned when I was a young girl
A few of the things included in this 12 week program for girls ages 10-13:
- how to be and belong as an imperfect human being
- how to live authentically without pretending to be somebody else
- how to express and deal with emotions such as fear, anger, grief, shame without feeling guilty
- how to listen emphatically and empathetically without interrupting
- how to create what wants to come out
Naturally, children this age need to move and so do we all. Getting into the body is the first step toward being able to feel and express what is going on in the heart and the mind ~ the emotional and mental body. Yoga asanas will definitely be part of the program, just not the only focus.
