Our Summer Virtual Programs start July 6th and registration is OPEN!
The OSCA Team is pleased to announce the launch of our Virtual Summer 2020 Program Guide! Registration will open Monday, June 22nd at NOON! Registration will be online only.
In the first week of March - which feels like a LOT longer than two months ago - we announced that OSCA will be changing its registration system for Fall registrations to Amilia:
Darcy put together a video of his OSCA staff t-shirt collection, which includes some great classics!
The Firehall is closed. Our March Break camps were cancelled, as well as the remainder of our Winter Session Programs. And with the extension of the closure of all of the City’s recreation centres until at least June 30th, we have now also had to cancel our Spring programs. But as we are sure you know, OSCA’s staff have been as busy as ever these past few weeks.
For older children in our Breakfast Club and After-Four programs, we have been meeting on Zoom twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) and giving them and us an opportunity to hang out (virtually of course) with their friends from Firehall.
Isolation is a challenge for all but imagine being new to this world and not being able to see the friendly faces that you’ve gotten to know at the Firehall. We are doing our best to connect with our little friends through the Zoom platform.
We are excited to announce that we will soon be partnering with Amilia — a Canadian online registration software provider — to replace our current registration system.
Did you have a chance to read OSCA President Richard Slowikowski's report in the March OSCAR? It's full of interesting information about some recent and upcoming changes at OSCA, so we reproduced it here:
Registration for all of our Spring Programs in now OPEN!
