How to Create an Account and Register Online

How to Create Your Account

In order to register yourself or your child into any activity, you are required to create a family account. A family account must have a main contact who is over 18 years of age. Once this account is created you can add all other family members. 

The account creation process has two steps:

1) You must create a general Amilia account (you may already have one if you have registered for programs with partners who currently use Amilia) 

2) Once you have an Amilia account you can consent to share your Amilia account with usThis will allow you to register into any program with us as well as sign up for your family members. To start the account creation process click on the 'My Account' button below and follow the prompts.  


Step by Step Guide

  1. Login to your Amilia account or create a new account. To create an Amilia account either find the program you wish to register into and Amilia will prompt you along, or click the 'My Account' button to create an account at any time. You may already have an Amilia account if you’ve recently signed with a local organization that also uses Amilia.

  2. If you do not have an Amilia account please click the create an account button to begin the account creation process. You may also create an account using your Facebook, Google, or Microsoft 365 account 

  1. Fill out the required details and click 'Create'.  

  2. Consent to share your Amilia profile with the Old Ottawa South Community Association (this only applies if you are registering for a program, otherwise consent will be asked from you upon your first registration).

  3. Confirm your email address.

  4. During your first program registration, you will be required to fill out your account information (date of birth, address, phone number, emergency contacts, important medical information, etc.)

Clients wishing to just register their children MUST create an account for themself first and then add their children to their account when registering for an activity.


How to Register

  1. Visit OSCA's Online Store!

  2. Browse our program offerings by clicking through our categories, searching keywords in the search bar (top right), or filter by age, day, and interest (on the left).

  3. Click on the name of the class you'd like to register yourself or a family member into and review the program information.

  4. Confirm your registration by clicking on the 'Register' button.

  5. Amilia will prompt you to log into your account or create a new account. If creating a new account, make sure to verify your email address.

  6. Once logged in, you will be asked to share your account information with us (this only applies to your first registration). 

  7. Now that you are signed in, you will be asked who you're registering. If this is your first registration, you must enter in your date of birth before proceeding. If you are registering a family member and they do not appear click on 'Add Another Person' to add the family member you wish to register.

  8. Once you've selected who you want to register, review your cart or continue registering yourself or your family members into additional programs.

  9. Review all registrations and proceed by clicking the 'Check Out' button. You must now fill out any required account information.

  10. Finally, enter payment details and confirm your registration. A receipt and confirmation of registration will be emailed to you.

How to Drop-In to a class

1. First, open our Amilia store and log in to your account (you will need to create an account if you do not already have one. See "How To Create Your Account" above for detailed instructions).
2. Then, navigate to the activity you wish to drop into (See "How To Register" above for details on how to browse programs).
3. Once you've found the class you wish to join, click on the “Drop-In” option with the calendar icon. This will bring you to the class calendar.

4. Choose the date you wish to drop-in from the class calendar (note: if you haven’t logged in yet, a log-in prompt will display when a date is chosen)

5. a) If you have purchased an All-Access Fitness Pass, you will be prompted to use it for this transaction. Click on the ticket stub button under "Use a multipass". 

Then simply click "Continue" to finalize the process.


5. b) If you have not purchased an All-Access Fitness Pass, you'll see the following window. Click the icon beside the name of the person you'd like to drop in. This will add the drop-in to your cart for $15.00 and you can then Checkout. (For more details on the Checkout process, see the "How To Register" section on this page.)



6. Once the process is complete, you have been added as a drop-in for that particular class and our automated system will send you the Zoom information a few hours prior to the class start.

Registration FAQ

How do I register for more than one person in my family?  

If your family member does not appear in the list of names on your account when you try to register into a program, you can quickly and easily add them to your account by clicking the 'Add Another Person' icon and following the prompts. 


How can I search for programs?

  • Yes, you can. You can search for courses by browsing through our categories, searching keywords in the search bar (top right), or filter by age, day, and interest (on the left). In the 'more filters' option, you can browse by our custom tags (Older Adult Friendly, Yoga, Pilates, etc.).

How can I reset my own password?

  1. Visit this link. Enter your email and check your inbox.
  2. If you don’t see the email, make sure you check your “Junk” folder.
  3. If the email doesn’t send or you’re not sure which email address you used for your account, you can email matt@oldottawasouth.ca for assistance.
