Adult Contemporary Dance

Thursdays 11:00AM-11:45AM

Through simple movement sequences, you'll explore using breath, weight, rhythm, space and energy to move, express and create. This class is for beginners. Please note this class will only run during July.

Mindful Yoga and Meditation

Mondays 8:15AM-9:15AM 
July 6 - August 10
Exception date: August 3
Come and experience the wonderful practice of mindfulness. This class will combine various meditation practices and mindful yoga techniques to help reconnect participants with the present moment and once again experience the wonder of simply being.

Musical Chairs: Best Seat in The House (Seated Dance)

This is a seated class where participants will dance to ballet, contemporary, and Broadway favourites! It’s excellent for people with low-mobility. Enjoy the healthy benefits of dance in this fun, gentle, feel-good movement class. Lorraine, your instructor, is a graduate of the National Centre for Dance Therapy. Swans in Sneakers - Ballet & Broadway 55+

Fridays 10:00AM-10:45AM 
July 10 - July 31
Dance into the story: Explore the history, characters and behind-the-scenes tales of iconic Ballets and Broadway shows, while dancing to beautiful music and building movement skills and creativity. Suitable for all levels. (6 weeks).
