The Old Ottawa South Community Association (OSCA) has a double life. It advocates for and mobilises our community around issues affecting our neighbourhood. The 2020 OSCA AGM was held on October 20, 2020—but this year it was an AGM with a difference! Because of the restrictions encountered by COVID-19, an in-person AGM was impossible. The AGM is usually held in May but it was postponed this year in the hopes that the restrictions would be lifted and an in-person meeting would be possible. Finally, OSCA gave in and held the meeting in October.
Registration is now open for OSCA’s AGM, scheduled for Tuesday 20 Oct 2020 commencing at 7:30pm. In order to be able to attend the 2020 AGM, registration is required and the deadline is October 16, 2020. All Members of OSCA are eligible to register for, attend, and vote at the AGM. Ever since the Firehall has been closed, OSCA’s Executive Committee, the OSCA Board, and OSCA Staff have been working hard behind the scenes to make sure the Association continues to provide some of its essential services and community support.
