The City of Ottawa is seeking views on the management of garbage, recycling, and food waste.  Ottawa’s vision is to be a zero-waste city. And yet, more than half of what we throw in the garbage could be recycled or composted. We need a plan that can stand up to challenges such as climate change and a landfill that is filling up fast.

Transportation Master Plan Consultation

Work continues on the City of Ottawa Transportation Master Plan that will be the fundamental framework for how the Official Plan’s transportation goals are achieved. Several draft policies are now online and residents are invited to complete the associated survey feedback forms, as well as use the online engagement tool to review candidate projects, by the new deadline of March 31, 2022.

The City of Ottawa wants to hear from you on the new Transportation Master Plan (TMP). The TMP is the city’s overarching policy on road, sidewalk, and bike lane development and design. A draft policy document is available for review on the project website. The public is encouraged to review the draft policies and complete the associated surveys by February 18, 2022.
