Two great friends. Both artists, musicians. They’d probably be tickled to learn their music would be performed together more than 200 years in the future. Joseph Haydn and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart were reportedly great friends, who connected despite many differences.
The March presentation of Music at Trinity is centered around the theme of awakenings. Soprano Whitney Sloan and pianist Fabien Tousignant will team up to present a rich program mainly comprised of German Lieder. Spring will have just arrived and as nature awakens, we hope you can join us on March 25th at 4pm in the beautiful acoustics of Trinity Anglican Church. The program will feature works by Brahms, Strauss, Wolf and more.
Please note the following change to this Saturday’s recital (previously announced as An Afternoon at the Opera). Due to health issues, one of the performers is unable to participate in this Saturday’s recital. Fabien Tousignant, Organist and Director of Music at Trinity Anglican will step in at the last minute to present an organ recital of Seasonal Music by J.S. Bach.

This will be a wonderful opportunity to experience the Christmas story through lessons, choral treasures, and the chance to sing some of your favorite Advent and Christmas hymns in the beautiful acoustics of Trinity Anglican Church.
